I like technology - truth be told - I'm kind of a tech-junkie! I particularly like smart phones and tiny technology. I love love love having my world in the palm of my hand. I am currently using a MDA that accesses the Internet and 9 different email accounts (plus I can play games and make calls!!!). At the spur of the moment if I want to go to the movies I can look up Movie phone on my cell. I love that!!

I also love touch screen technology, which my cell phone has. I am currently in the market for a notebook (laptop) so I can write on the screen with the stylus. I am hoping it will make taking notes in class easier!

Blogging could be used to connect libraries. If a librarian came up with an idea she (or he) could share it or explore it fully with the help of other online junkies! It would open a whole new world!!! How exciting -

The 7-1/2 habits will be highly useful and a valuable tool if we could just get people to use them. Education is so important. Updating new technology is vital to any organization - reinvent and keep current - innovative or die!

I don't understand why people don't apply the same principle to human resources. We can up date our business but no one wants to update their brain!
